Los Angeles Career College offers ECG & Pharmacology for healthcare professionals. ECG & Pharmacology is a classroom-based, instructor-led course.
Participants are those, who take part in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other emergencies or those planning to take ACLS or PALS classes in the future. This includes, but are not limited to personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care. It is designed to improve electrocardiogram (ECG) recognition skills and pharmacology knowledge for treating cardiovascular emergencies. Through the help of professionals and knowledgeable instructors all the participants will be thoroughly informed of all the information as a job or other requirement. The ECG and Pharmacology course is an excellent introduction to the ACLS and PALS curriculum. This comprehensive course presents information on basic electrophysiology, normal ECG measurements, basic arrhythmias, basic ACLS drugs, usage and routes of administration during cardiovascular emergencies, and how to integrate basic drug pharmacology into ACLS algorithms.
