Los Angeles Career College offers Red Cross Adult First Aid Courses, which follow the latest guidelines and offers same day American Red Cross Certification. Becoming certified in first aid can make you a valuable member of your community.
The first aid training and certification process takes just a few hours to complete, but can help you deliver the care that someone needs while waiting for medical professionals to arrive.
Red Cross Adult First aid training class gives the participants all the information and skills they need to help adults during many emergency situations. The Adult First Aid course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults. It involves an interactive experience where you will respond to real-world emergencies in a virtual setting. Allow approximately 2 hours 10 minutes to complete the course.
Red Cross Adult First-Aid will be led by knowledgeable instructors, who are Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics and EMT’s. The course combines in-person practice, lecture with hands-on skills sessions. Our in-person classes will give you an interactive time to ask questions and become comfortable with the latest techniques and are perfect for those who learn best in a traditional classroom setting.
Upon completing the course all the participants will receive a same day certification. Each certificate includes a unique ID and a QR code which meets employment requirements and allows employers to easily confirm the validity of your certificate. Class participants and employers can visit redcross.org/confirm and enter the ID found on the digital certificate (or scan the QR code with a standard QR reader using a smart device) to access a copy of the valid certificate with student training information.
