The FREE NA (Nursing Assistant) Program is the perfect opportunity for those seeking an entry-level career in healthcare! Our FREE Nurse Assistant Program prepares and licenses individuals in accordance with the California Department of Public Health. Nurse Assistant curriculum covers both theory and practical application of skills needed to work in hospitals, long-term care facilities and home health care settings.
Title I program from State of California will pay for 100% of the training for those who qualify!

Program details

As a nursing assistant, you will provide basic care to patients unable to care for themselves. Your responsibilities will range from taking temperature readings to taking care of your patients. In fact, in most health care facilities, CNAs are responsible for providing care for patients.

Pass the CNA Competency Exam
After you complete your Nurse Assistant Training, you will be eligible to take a knowledge and skills certification exam. Your training program will offer practice exams that will prepare you, so you’ll know what to expect when taking the test. Your instructors will narrow the training to focus on topics that are included in the exam. Once you receive your certificate, it’s important that you inquire about how often you should renew your certification.

- A minimum of 60-hours theory. Students must score a minimum of 70% or higher on the theory and written tests from all 16 modules from the Nurse Assistant Training Program. Upon successful completion of the course, you are eligible to take the California State Examination to become a certified nursing assistant. Los Angeles Career College is an approved state test center for the CNA Licensure.
